以下是5/17, 2021收到IRATA的回信，關於台灣目前存在的，因為新冠肺炎對境外人士執行入境限制政策下的技術員證書議題，請見下面的原文。

我們認為，IRATA的認定對於圍堵措施限制了考官的可用性這一件事情，目前台灣讓外籍人士入境皆須隔離14天，這個措施便是讓IRATA的考官進來台灣產生了可用性困擾的一個事實。因此個人認為，偶一為之的在國際疫情依舊嚴峻的期間讓外籍考官進來台灣考試，並不能夠說明台灣是處於考官可用性高的區域。在這種情況下建議技術員繼續使用展延計畫，直到我們的疫情受到穩定與安全的控制，並且開放對外籍考官所屬國家的邊境政策之後再進行培訓與考試，我們認為是比較合理的做法。

If the technicians are unable to attend a training course due to the COVID-19 containment measures restricting the availability of assessors, then they should select the ‘grounds for extension’ which most applies to them. Provided that the country they are currently located in has not been withdrawn from the extension scheme, then the technicians will be eligible to apply for an extension to their

certification.

 

如果由於COVID-19圍堵措施限制了考官的可用性而導致技術人員無法參加培訓課程，則他們應選擇最適用於他們的“證書展延計畫”。如果他們當前所在的國家/地區尚未退出”證書展延計劃“，則技術人員將有資格申請對其證書進行展延。
